    Help

With WebStore, you can Cross-sell and Up-sell products. The two screens work in the same way. You can find the explanation in the next help section.

The Cross-selling and Up-selling screens have two parts: available products that are found at the top of the screen, and selected products that are found in the bottom of the screen.

What is the difference between Cross-selling and Up-selling ?
Cross-selling is a suggestion of additional products after a customer has added a product to the shopping cart.

Upselling is a sales technique where a seller encourages the customer to purchase more expensive items, upgrades or other add-ons in an attempt to make a more profitable sale.

In WebStore, the concept of Up-selling and Cross-selling allows you to assign two different product lists to the product that is being created.

How to ? Assign products for Cross-selling :
The following explains how to assign products for Cross-selling or Up-selling :

In the table that lists available products (at the top of the screen), the "Add" button or Magelia - Add button icon up-sells other products for the product being viewed.
In the table that lists assigned products (at the bottom of the screen), the "Remove" button or the Magelia - Delete button icon deletes a product from the Up-sell list.

    • You can assign any product type for cross-selling or up-selling. For example, you can up/cross-sell a product variant with your product or the variant themselves.
    • You can also manage the product order in Cross-selling by going in the table of assigned products and entering a number. A product that is assigned zero (0) will appear at the top of the list.
